The third Korea Pop-Up store is here! Pokémon paired up with Lotte World department stores across and Seoul and Busan again to open 3 pop-up stores. Starting from April 26th to May 19th the stores will sell exclusive goods as well as Pokémon Center products. The theme of this time’s pop-up stores is “Enjoy Pokémon Town”. This pop-up store is also to celebrate the new movie that will be release in May! Here are the 3 pop up stores and their opening period:
- Lotte Jamsil Branch/ 롯데백화점 잠실점/ 樂天百貨 蠶室店 (4/26~5/19) — Seoul
- Lotte Gwangbok Branch/ 롯데백화점 광복점/ 樂天百貨 南浦洞光復店 (5/1~5/15) — Busan
- Lotte Suwon Branch/ 롯데백화점 수원잔/ 樂天百貨 水源店 (4/25~5/9)
1. Pikachu Dual Expression pin — The pin is sold in all three stores and the pin can be opened up to reveal Pikachu’s expression. Pikachu’s body is printed on the backboard to give the pin a complete look. (Shown on the bottom right of the image below)
2. Pokémon Model Set Plastic Pin (2 Variations) — The pins are sold in all three stores and they are not enamel pins, but made out of plastic. The pins imitate plastic model sets that can be assembled into figures. (Shown on the right side of the image below)
3. Pokémon Movie Famous Scene Pins (6 Variations) — The pins are sold in all three stores and they are released in celebration of the new movie 「성도지방이야기, 최종장」 which premiered in Korea in May. The six pins are inspired by important scenes in the movie. (Shown on the right side of the image below)
4. PokéBall Lottery Pin (100 Variations) — The pins are sold in all three stores and each PokéBall contains one random pin. This will probably become the hardest pin set to complete!
5. Busan Exclusive Puzzle Pin — The pin is only availabe in Basan store. The pin features Pikachu and Drifloon and can be separated into two pins. (Shown on the right side of the image below)
5. Suwon Exclusive Puzzle Pin — The pin is only availabe in Suwon store. The pin features Eevee and Arcanine and can be separated into two pins. (Shown on the right side of the image below)
Starting from 2023, Pokémon seems to be expanding their Korea market. They have been opening more and more pop-up stores. Their online store also occasionally releases products that are exclusve to Korea!
