On August 17th, Pokemon China announced their new Gym Battle Event — “Mew vs. Mewtwo Battle Teams”. The event will run from August 21st to September 6th, 2026. The event will be happening online and at Shanghai’s TCG Gym Store.
Each player will have to choose to be on Mew Team or Mewtwo Team. Throughout the event period, there are battles and daily missions to participate in. Each battle and event will reward the player with points. At the end of the event, players will be ranked according to their points in the respective team and receive different pins as reward. Here are the ranking tiers for pins:
- Top 1%: Master Pin
- Top 1%-5%: Expert Pin
- Top 5%-15%: Elite Pin
- Top 15%-30%: Pioneer Pin
The pins can be redeemed at Shanghai TCG Gym (宝可梦官方卡牌道馆-上海 中山公园) at the end of the event. Here are the pins:
