This page includes Pokémon pin information on Korea Pop-Up Stores, online stores releases and exclusive events. Starting 2023, Pokémon began to promote more in Korea. Korea Pop Up Stores
1. Pokémon Pop-Up Store in Jamsil (2018)
From September 20th to 26th, 2018. Pokémon opened a Pop Up Store at Jamsil, Seoul. People who spend 70,000 won will receive a Mid-Autumn themed Pikachu pin as gift.
2. Korea The Hyundai Seoul Pop Up Store (2020/2021)
From October 1st to 7th, 2021, Pokémon opened a Pop Up Store in The Hyundai, Seoul. People who spend 30,000 won will receive a random pin featuring Snorlax, Ditto, Wobbuffet, Jigglypuff or Eevee. These pins were previously released by Pokémon Store Korea around May 14th, 2020. The online release also included Pikachu which weren’t part of the Pop-Up Store gifts.
3. Korea Jeju Island Pop Up Store (2023)
From July 28th to August 27th, 2023, Pokémon opened a Pop Up store in Jeju Island, Korea. The theme of the store features Jeju Island’s specialty — Hallabong Tangerines and Dol Hareubang (rock statues). The pin design is Pikachu dressed up as a tangerine and it is a spinning pin. 4. Korea Winter Days Seoul/Busan Pop Up Store (2023)
From November 3rd to 30th, 2023. Pokémon opened 5 Pop Up store in Seoul and Busan, Korea. The theme of the store is “Winter Days”. There are 8 sets of pins each includes 2 pins that are connected by a chain (read detailed blog post). They also released a winter countdown calendar that includes 4 unique pins (read detailed blog post). All the items are also sold on Korea Pokémon Center online store.
5. Korea Enjoy Pokémon Town Pop Up Store (2024)
From April 26th to May 19th, 2024, Pokémon opened 3 Pop Up stores in Seoul, Busan and Suwon, Korea. The theme of the store is “Enjoy Pokémon Town”. A number of different types of pins were released including lottery pins and specific store exclusive pins. (read detailed post). The lottery pins were also sold on Korea Pokémon Center online store.
6. Korea Pokémon Pop Up Store in Starfield Suwon (2024)
From September 23rd to October 10th, 2024, Pokémon opened a Pop Up store in Starfield Suwon, Korea. Two new exclusive pins featuring Pikachu were released. The pins are special as they each have 3 tassels attached (read detailed post).
7. Korea Pokémon Capsule Toy Street Pop Up Store (2024)
From December 13th, 2024 to January 25th, 2025, Pokémon opened a pop-up store in Jamsil, Korea. The theme of this pop-up store is “Capsule Toy Street”. A mini pin badge collection was released. The collection included 10 pins and each pin is about 1cm x 1.5cm. The pins could be purchased from a gachapon machine and are given out randomly (read detailed post).
8. Korea Pokémon Metamong's Capsule Toy Pop Up Store (2025)
From April 25th to May 19th, 2025, Pokémon opened a pop-up store in Lotte World Mall Jamsil, Korea. The theme of this pop-up store is “Metamong’s Capsule Toy”. A new set of gachapon pins with 5 pin was released. The pins feature Metamong — Korean name for Ditto in different poses. The pins could be purchased from a gachapon machine for 15,000 won and are given out randomly.
9. Korea Pokémon Capsule Station in Busan Pop Up Store (2025)
From July 25th to August 17th, 2025 Pokémon opened a pop-up store in Lotte Department Store Busan, Korea. The theme of this pop-up store is “Capsule Station”. A new set of moving pin with 8 pins was released. The pins have moving parts and mimic scenes on the subway. There are also two new products that will be first available at the pop up store. These two products are likely to be available on Korea PC Online Store later on. The two products are:
- PokéBall Lottery Pin Part 2 — 100 blind box pins
- Speed Star Glow in the Dark Pins — total of 4 pins (available from August 2nd)
10. Korea Pokémon Capsule Island in Jeju Island Pop Up Store (2025)
From October 2nd to 26th, Pokémon opened a pop-up store at Yeomiji Botanic Garden, Jeju Island, Korea. The theme of this pop-up store is “Capsule Island” where Pikachu and its friends explore the Jeju Island sea. A new set of pins with 7 pins was released. The pins are sold in gachapon machines.
11. Metamong's Secret Capsule Mansion Pop Up Store (2025)
From December 19th, 2025 to January 12th, 2026 Pokémon opened a pop-up store in Lotte World Mall Jamsil, Korea. The theme of this pop-up store is a huge Christmas mansion where Metamong (Ditto) and its friends all gather for the holiday season. A new set of 8 feature phone shaped pins was released. The set is from the collection “Squishy Metamong’s Day” and the pins are sold in gachapon machines.
12. Pokémon Mega Festa in Seoul (2026)
Starting May 2026 Pokémon Korea began their celebration for Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary — Pokémon Mega Festa. They are setting up multiple pop-up stores in Seoul (and more cities to come). Each Pop-up store will have its own exclusive items. Here are all the stores and events for the Mega Festa event:
- Pokémon 30th Anniversary Party — @Trendpot by Olive Young N Seongsu from 5/1-5/31. Total of 9 pins for 30,000 won each.
- Pokémon Run — @Hangang River Park on 5/5. The Magikarp pin set with 3 pins retailed at 17,000 won was originally sold at the event, but was later changed to be an online item sold on their online store starting 5/11.
- Pokémon Urban Forest Blind Box Pin — @Pokémon Secret Forest pop-up store from 5/1-6/21. Total of 4 pins sold in the form for blind boxes.
- Together, Zap Zap! Spring pin badge — @Metamong Playgound pop-up store from 5/1-6/21. Total of 4 pins for 16,000 won each.
- Pop Pop Midnight! Roulette Blind Box Pin — @Metamong Playgound pop-up store from 5/20-6/21. Total of 4 pins sold in the form for blind boxes for 20,000 won each.
- Colorgram Olive Young Collaboration — @online/in store from 5/1. 1 out of 4 pin will be randomly given out with a purchase of Colorgram Nude Stick product.
Korea PC Online Store
1. Mimikyu Doodle Series Pin (2018)
On March 9th, 2018, Pokémon Store Korea released an original series “Mimikyu Doodle”. Within the series, there’s a pin featuring Mimikyu with a doodle-style backboard. The pin can be purchased from their online store. (Korean name: 포켓몬 스토어 오리지널 따라큐 낙서 시리즈)
2. Substitute Pokémon Sliding Pin (2024)
Around April and May 2024, Pokémon Store Korea released a Substitute Pokémon sliding pin on their online store (read detailed post).
3. Pokéball 100 Random Badge (2024-2025)
On August 16th, 2024, Pokémon Online Store Korea released their Pokéball 100 Random Badge Part 1 set. The set was previously available at the Enjoy Pokémon Town Pop Up Store in April, 2025. The set contains 100 different pins and each pin is sold in a metal tin Pokéball. Each pin is sold for 12,500 won. Part 2 of the series will first be available at the Busan Capsule Station Pop Up Store From July 25th, 2025. More image will be added when available.

4. Lucky For You Mini Pins with Scratch Card (2025)
On March 19th, 2025 Pokemon Online Store Korea released their new series — Lucky For You. The series includes a new mini pin set with a scratch card. There are a total of 5 mini pins. The product is retailed at 10,000 won and this includes one random mini pin and a scratch card (read detailed post).
5. Metamong Cherry Blossom Shiny Pin (2025)
On March 28th, 2025 Pokemon Online Store Korea released their new series — Metamong Cherry Blossom. The series includes a new pin! The pin has two parts — a round pin with Ditto surrounded by cherry blossom and a hanging flower pin at the bottom. For the round pin, it seems like it has a hollow cavity with flower petals that can move around! The product is retailed at 18,000 won (read detailed post).
6. 2026 Traditional Edition Chain Pins (2026)
On Feburary 3rd, 2026, Pokemon Store Korea released their 2026 Traditional Edition collection which included 2 new pins featuring Pikachu. The pins have chains with Butterfree attatched.
7. Pokemon 30th Anniversary Pin Collection Event (2026)
Starting from March 1st, 2026, Korea’s Pokemon online store is holding a special pin collection event that will last until November. By spending more than 100,000 won each month, a different free pin will be given. Those who participate every month can enter a giveaway for a speical pin frame. (click here to read detail post)
Other Korea Releases
1. Pocket Monsters Store Display Pins (1999)
This Pocket Monster Store Display Pin is most likely released in 1999. The set consists of 20 Pokémon pins individually packed in a plastic box.
2. Movie -- Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You Promo Pin (2017)
The movie “Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You” was released on December 21st, 2017 in Korea. To celebrate the release of the movie, Pokémon Store Korea released a special movie ticket combo that included an original movie promo pin featuring Pikachu wearing Ash’s hat. 3. Movie -- The Rise of Darkrai Promo Pin (2018)
The movie “The Rise of Darkrai” was released on June 6th, 2018 in Korea. To celebrate the release of the movie, there were few special movie ticket combos released. One of the combo included an original movie promo pin featuring Darkrai and costs 14,000 won. This movie originally premiered in 2007 in Japan and in 2018 was finally released in Korea. 4. Game -- E-mart Scarlet & Violet Promo Pin (2022)
In 2022, to promote the release of Pokémon: Scarlet & Violet, Korea E-mart gave out a promo pin for anyone that purchases the game from November 18th to 30th. (Click to see all Game Release Pins)
5. Pokémon x CGV Cinema (2022-2024)
Starting form 2022, Korea’s Cinema CGV started to have collaborations with Pokémon to release blind box pins. On December 10th, 2022, the first collab was released. This release included 18 blind box pins and a 3 pin set. On May 31st, 2023, they released their second collab. This release also included 18 blind box pins. On January 23rd, 2024, the thrid collab was released. This release included 14 blind box pins.
Up until now, there are 50 different pins released. For each release, there are always several pins that have glittered designs. The blind box pins were all sold at 10,000 won and the first collab pin set was sold at 25,000 won.
6. Pokémon x ADLV (2023)
On May 4th, 2023, Korean clothing brand ADLV (Acme de la vie) released a collaboration with Pokémon. The collaboration included a series of t-shirts, sweaters and hats. All the products will include a Pokédex shaped tag and a Pokéball Pin.
7. Pokémon the Orchestra (2023-2024)
2023 — Pocket Monster DP Dialga Palkia Badge Set
On January 28th and 29th, 2023, Pokémon the Orchestra performed at National Theater of Korea in Seoul. People who attend the concert have the chance to purchase the speical pin box set “Pocket Monster DP Dialga Palkia Badge Set”. The set includes a black box with 8 gym badges of the Sinnoh League. The set was sold at 75,000 Won.
2024 — Pokémon the Orchestra Limited Badge Frame
On September 21st and 22nd, 2024, people who attend the concert with VIP tickets can have the chance to pre-order the exclusive limited pin frame set. The set can then be picked up in person on the day of the concert. Only 300 sets were released. VIP tickets were sold at 110,000 Won and the set was sold at 200,000 Won. (read detailed post).
8. Pokémon x Isaac Toast (2024-2025)
In 2024, Pokémon paired up with Korean franchise “Isaac Toast (이삭토스트)” and released a series of collaborations. During the event period, customers can purchase the special collab combo to receive a blind bag with one of the Pokémon pins. The blind bags can also be directly purchased for 5,500 won each.
Part 1 — Released June 10th, 2024 with 15 blind bag pins. At the end of the event, those who purchased in store will have a chance to enter in a prize draw and 30 winners will be chosen to receieve coupons and a special box that can house all 15 pins.
Part 2 — Released November 18th, 2024 with 18 blind bag pins. There are 15 regular pins and 3 secret pins. (No official image of all 18 pins have been released as of now)
Part 3 — Released April 7th, 2025 with 14 blind bag pins. There are 11 regular pins and 3 secret pins.
Part 4 — Released April 14th, 2025 with 14 blind bag pins. There are 11 regular pins and 3 secret pins.
Part 5 — Released June 1st, 2026 with 10 blind bag pins. There are 7 regular pins and 3 secret pins. These are brand new design compare to the previous parts. The pins have moving parts.
9. Lotte World Adventure x Pokémon - Balloon Ride Blind Box (2025)
From March 2nd to May 25th, 2025 Lotte World Adventure is pairing up with Pokémon with their new theme – Pokémon World Adventure: Spring Camp. A blind box pin set was released. The pin set includes 11 pins featuring Pokémons riding on Pokéball themed hot air ballons. Each box is sold at 8,000 won and contains 1 random pin (read detailed post).
From June 7th to August 31st, 2025 Lotte World Adventure continues their collaboration with Pokemon and introduced their next theme – Summer Festa. The balloon ride blind box pin series continues with part 2 featuring 9 Eeveelutions and part 3 featuring 10 water type Pokemons.
From September 6th to November 11th, 2025 Lotte World Adventure introduced their Halloween theme Pokemon Collaboration – Ghost Party. The pin series continues with part 4 featuring 10 ghost type Pokemons.
10. Korea Pokémon Card Shop Pins (2025)
On March 12th, 2025, Korea Pokémon Card Shop announced that they will be releasing their own original product line. The products included 2 card shape like pins featuring Koraidon and Miraidon. The pins are quite big at 6 x 7 cm and retailed at 22,000 won.
11. Lotte Giants x Pokémon Pin Set (2025)
From May 2nd to July 10th, 2025 Lotte Giants is collaborating with Pokémon to set up an pop-up store at the 3rd floor of Sajik Baseball Stadium, Busan Korea. There are 5 exclusive pins released and each pin is retailed at 12,000 won. On May 2nd, 16:30 Kst the collaboration merchandise are also sold on the Lotte online store.
12. T'way Airline x Pokémon (2025)
Korea Airline T’way released a set of blind box pins “Catch Your Mystery Badge” on July 1st, 2025 to celebrate their continuous collaboration with Pokémon. The set includes 6 pins and each pin can be opened up to reveal a different window view. The pins are sold online for 12,000 won each.
13. Game -- E-mart Pokémon Legends: Z-A Promo Pin (2025)
From August 28th to October 12th, those who preorder Pokémon Legends: Z-A on Korea E-Mart app will receive a special bonus pin. (Click to see all Game Release Pins)
14. Hyundai Busan Trip with Pokémon (2025)
Korean car brand Hyundai released a set of blind box pins with their ” Busan Trip with Pokémon” collection for their collaboration with Pokémon. The set includes 10 pins and each pin can open up to reveal a different view. The pins are sold online (and at some Hyundai events) for 14,000 won each.
