On March 3rd, 2023, Pokémon Center Japan announced that Mega Tokyo and Osaka Center will be reopening with Miraidon and Koraidon as their new representing Pokémon! Last time the two centers reopen were 2014 for Mega Tokyo and 2010 for Osaka Center. After ten years they are finally getting new logos! At the time of the annoucement, it was not certain if new logo pins will be released. Finally, on July 15th, both centers released the new pins with the new center logos!
In 2014, the original Tokyo center reopened as Mega Tokyo and changed their representing Pokémon to Charizard. At the time, they released a new pin for the reopening. This time, Mega Tokyo Center reopened with Miraidon in honor of the Scarlet and Violet game. The new center logo:
The original representing Pokémon of the Osaka center was Meowth and Tepig. and this time th center reopened with the other legendary Pokémon of Scarlet and Violet, Koraidon. The new center logo:
