This year’s Pokémon Worlds Championship is held in Yokohama, Japan, the home and origin of Pokémon. The celebration is bigger than ever! From August 8th to 14th, a series of event will be held at Minatomirai — the harbour of Yokohama. The events will include, parades, fireworks, and many more.
To dress up for the huge celebration, Pokémon Center Japan is releasing the Minatomirai Event Collection which includes T-shirts, sun glasses, towels, water bottles and more. Within the collection, there are also 6 new glow in the dark Pikachu pins! Here’s a preview of the pins:
These will be available for purchase at Pokémon Center online store on August 3rd and in all Pokémon stores on August 5th. The pins are retailed at 660 Yen, and it seems like they will be in the form of blind boxes.
