On December 6th, 2024, Pokémon Center Japan revealed that their Tohoku Center will be undergoing a renovation. The new center will reopen on March 14th, 2025. The Tohoku center opened in 2011 and originally the feature Pokémons were Pikachu, Snivy and Victini. Later on, they released a reopening pin featuring Pikachu, Snivy and Rowlet during their reopening in 2017. For the 2025 reopening the center’s feature Pokémons will revert back to Pikachu and Vicini!
As usual, a new center logo pin will be released during opening or reopening. This time there is also a new pin released! The pin is retailed at 770 Yen and is only available for purchase in store. Here is the new pin:
