From Feburary 6th to 22nd, 2026 Winter Olympic is held in Milan, Italy.
Olympic pin trading culture has alwasy been very popular. Starting from 2000 (or even earlier) for each Summer and Winter Olympic game, TV Tokyo (テレビ東京) always releases one or more Olympic exclusive pins for media related events. The pin always features Pikachu and is designed with the hosting city’s special icons. These pins are very rare as they are only handed out in offline events with limited quantity.
For 2026’s Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic games, the pin features Captain Pikachu with snowflakes in the background. There are a limited amount of 1500 pins and here is the pin:
