Olympic game is finally here again! From July 26th to August 11st, 2024 Summer Olympic is held in Paris, France.
Olympic pin trading culture has alwasy been very popular. Starting from 2000 (or even earlier) for each Summer and Winter Olympic game, TV Tokyo (テレビ東京) always releases one or more Olympic exclusive pins for media related events. The pin always features Pikachu and is designed with the hosting city’s special icons. These pins are very rare as they are only handed out in offline events with limited quantity.
For 2024’s Paris Summer Olympic game, the pins feature Pikachu and Eiffel Tower. Here are the pins:
